This set is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. It contains four 3D-printed resin heavy unguided S-24 rockets with APU-68 launchers in 1:35 scale, meant to be hung under the wing pylons of the Mi-24 attack helicopter or of other matching vehicles.
The S-24 is a Soviet unguided aircraft rocket of 240 mm caliber with a powerful high-explosive warhead, used to destroy ground targets. It was fired from a single-round APU-68 launcher. Besides a number of attack aircraft it was also carried by the Mi-24 attack helicopter, where it formed part of the heavy armament against fortified and area targets.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces gently with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer and paint with an airbrush; dark shades of the rocket body with colored marking bands after period photographs are typical.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
