A detailing set for models of the KAMAZ 4310 and 5350 trucks in 1:35 scale, measured for Zvezda kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The KAMAZ 4310 is a Soviet off-road truck with three driven axles, built to move loads and troops off the road. The KAMAZ 5350 is its newer relative from the family of military vehicles introduced after the year two thousand, again with all three axles driven but with a differently arranged cab and newer equipment. Both vehicles appear in models as the chassis for a whole range of bodies, so a detailing set is useful even where a specialized version is the starting point.
The set adds a finer rendering to the standard kit parts where the model is most on view. It is measured for the Zvezda kits of both vehicles, so with another maker expect some fine-tuning. The exact composition of the set and the layout of the elements are given in the enclosed instructions, and you should plan the order of work by them too; some elements go on before the build is closed up.
Wash and degrease the surface, as an element will not seat on a greasy or dusty surface. Try the placement dry first, because once it is seated it is hard to move. Before applying, check in the instructions how the elements attach to the surface; the way they are applied differs from set to set. So do not start work until you have checked it. Once they are seated, leave the elements alone and only then carry on with the rest of the work on the model.
A detailing set is supplied. The vehicle kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
