Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American medium tank M4A1 Sherman in 1:35 scale from Asuka (formerly Tasca). The model captures the version with a cast hull completed by reinforced cast cheeks on the sides of the front. The box contains movable VVSS suspension, photo-etched parts, a commander figure and flexible tracks; it carries the Lucky Tiger markings. Check the particular number of parts and schemes against the manufacturer's information.
The M4A1 was the variant of the Sherman with an all-cast rounded hull, powered by a radial gasoline engine. The additional cast reinforcements on the sides of the front (the cheeks) strengthened the armor at an exposed place. The vehicle carried a 75 mm gun and the proven vertical volute suspension. This particular form refers to the deployment of American infantry in the Pacific at the beginning of 1944.
Assemble and paint the movable VVSS suspension and the running gear before you finish the hull. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and attach the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Bring out the cast surface of the hull with a fine texture. After the base coat and a gloss coat under the decals, bring out the detail with a wash and add dust and mud with pigments; strong earthy effects suit Pacific machines.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
