An add-on detail set, not a model in its own right. The set brings replacement tracks cast in resin for the modern Leopard 2 main battle tank in 1:35 scale. It replaces the tracks from the plastic kit and faithfully reproduces the pattern and the division of a modern track with rubber pads.
The Leopard 2 is a German main battle tank which, since the 1980s, has been among the most widespread main battle tanks of Western design. It is marked out by a powerful 120 mm smoothbore gun, composite armor and high mobility. Modern tracks with rubber pads differ markedly from the tracks of Second World War equipment.
Wash the parts clean of mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and do the sanding with respiratory protection. On modern equipment the weathering tends to be more restrained; choose the dust and wear effects with measure according to the particular service.
The set holds replacement tracks only. The base model, glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
