This is a resin replacement for the running gear tracks of the late type for models of the German Pz.Kpfw. VI King Tiger heavy tank in 1:35 scale. The set faithfully captures the shape of the period links and serves as an aftermarket accessory replacing the tracks from the box. It is not a tank kit.
The King Tiger was the heaviest German tank put into service in the Second World War. Its tracks differed during production and the late type has a different link pattern from the early form; the right type matters for the fidelity of the model.
Wash the parts clean of mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Over a primer the tracks come out well in a dark metallic shade with weathering from washes and pigments that bring out dust and rust.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
