Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Panzer IV medium tank in the Ausf. H version in 1:35 scale from Italeri. The Ausf. H was the most numerously built variant of the Panzer IV. The package combines plastic parts with photo-etched sheet and turned metal elements; the decal sheet offers markings for several German armored divisions. Check the exact contents and schemes against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Ausf. H represented the peak of the development of the Panzer IV as a general-purpose battle tank. It carried the long 7.5 cm KwK 40 L/48 barrel, strengthened frontal armor and the characteristic anti-HEAT side skirts (Schürzen), which protected the hull and the turret. It was built from 1943 and formed the backbone of German tank units on every front in the closing stages of the war. It was powered by a twelve-cylinder Maybach engine.
Finish the running gear and the interior of the elements visible after assembly first, and only then close the hull. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, and the photo-etch and turned parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Fit the Schürzen side skirts according to the real subject. After the base color and the gloss coat under the decals, bring out the details with a wash and use pigments to suggest the mud and dust typical of late-war deployment.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
