About product

Photo-etched instrument panel for the Sd.Kfz 251 1:35

This is a detailed photo-etched set, not a model. It contains a color instrument panel and related interior detail for the Sd.Kfz 251 half-track armored personnel carrier in 1:35 scale. The color photo-etched part replaces a flat plastic or decal panel with a faithful replacement that has real depth.

What the set is for

The instrument panel is one of the first details you see in the open hull of the carrier. A color photo-etched part with legible dials gives the interior realism without the laborious painting of individual gauges.

Usage tips

  • Cut the part from the fret with a sharp knife and do not bend it needlessly.
  • Glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), a small drop at a time.
  • Protect the colored surface from sanding and from aggressive thinners.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers building the Sd.Kfz 251 in 1:35 scale.
  • Anyone looking to raise the realism of the interior quickly.

This is an accessory for a plastic model. The model itself and the glue are not included in the package.
