This is a resin (3D printed) set of scenic icicle models in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian brand Spalah. It is not a kit of equipment but a scenic accessory for winter dioramas - icicles for gutters, canopies and the projections of vehicles and buildings. It is supplied as unassembled and unpainted resin parts.
Icicles are a small but striking detail that instantly settles the season and the freezing atmosphere of a scene. Placed on the edges of roofs, bodywork or gun barrels they add conviction and depth of story to a diorama.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue, cut the print supports off carefully and glue them with cyanoacrylate. For an ice effect a clear or slightly bluish varnish and a gloss surface work well; combined with modeling snow and gloss they raise the impression of frost.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, in resin. Glue, paints and other scenic material are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
