Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the Soviet T-62 main battle tank in 1:35 scale from the maker Zvezda. The model captures a particular production version of 1974 to 1975, characterized by the 12.7 mm DShKM anti-aircraft machine gun on the turret, added for defense against helicopters. The kit is a classic glued plastic kit with a straightforward part count and solid detail.
The T-62 was a Soviet medium and later main battle tank introduced in the 1960s. It was the first production tank to receive a smoothbore 115 mm gun able to fire sub-caliber armor-piercing ammunition. It served in the armies of the whole Eastern bloc and beyond and saw combat in a number of conflicts all over the world.
Glue the model with liquid modeling cement for plastic and sand the joints down once they have dried. Finish the running gear before you close the hull. A base coat of primer and an airbrush in Soviet green are recommended; for a realistic look use washes and pigments for mud and dust effects on the running gear and the lower hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
