M4 Sherman T-49 tracks with Duckbill extenders 1:35 from Gecko Models are a set of workable link-by-link tracks for a detailed build of a model.

This is an add-on set of tracks, not a whole model. The set holds individual T-49 type track links with Duckbill widening extenders for a model of the M4 Sherman tank in 1:35 scale. The tracks are workable: they are built up link by link and can be assembled so that they sag realistically over the road wheels.
Steel T-49 tracks were used on later versions of the M4 Sherman tank. The Duckbill widening extenders increased the contact area of the track with the ground, lowered the ground pressure and improved mobility over soft and muddy terrain, as was needed for example in Normandy.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
