A complete detail set in turned metal for a model of the German destroyer Z-25 as she was in 1944, 1:350 scale. The package contains barrels of 150 mm caliber (4 pieces), the anti-aircraft guns 37 mm C/30 (8 pieces), 37 mm M42 (4 pieces) and 20 mm (18 pieces). It is not a ship model but accurate metal replacements for all the barrels of the armament. The target kit is the Trumpeter one.
The Z-25 was a German destroyer of the Type 1936A, in service from 1942. It stood out for its heavy gun and anti-aircraft armament. It went through modifications during the war, and the 1944 state matches the strengthened anti-aircraft defense with guns of 37 mm and 20 mm caliber.
Separate the tiny barrels from the gate very carefully, ideally under a magnifier. Glue with cyanoacrylate into cleaned holes. Treat the metal with a base coat (a primer) before painting. Because of the small size of the parts, tweezers are recommended.
This is a supplementary detail set, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
