A photo-etched super detail set in 1:350 for a model of the American Gearing class destroyer (1945) from Flyhawk. An accessory of fine metal parts for maximum realism on a finished kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Flyhawk is NOT a kit but a detail accessory made for plastic models of the American Gearing class destroyer in her 1945 state, in 1:350 scale. It holds fine photo-etched metal parts for faithfully finishing the ship.
The Gearing class destroyers were among the most capable American destroyers of the end of the Second World War. A hull lengthened over the preceding class allowed greater range and a heavy anti-aircraft and anti-submarine armament; many of them served long after the war.
Photo-etch replaces the finest elements: railings, ladders, antennas, radar gratings and fittings. Separate the parts with a sharp knife, shape them in a bender and glue them with super glue. Degrease the metal before painting and prime it.
This is an accessory for a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
