Eduard 1:350 USS Constellation CV-64 part 3: railings and safety nets is a photo-etched set for detailing the model of the American aircraft carrier. An add-on to a kit, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, the third part of a series of add-ons for the model of the American aircraft carrier USS Constellation CV-64 in 1:350 scale. This part is aimed at the railings and safety nets around the deck and the superstructures. It is not a model of the ship but a set of fine metal parts that replace the coarser plastic elements with faithful etched ones.
USS Constellation (CV-64) was an American Kitty Hawk-class aircraft carrier with conventional propulsion, in service from 1961. She took part in operations off Vietnam and in later deployments and was part of the backbone of the US Navy for several decades. Extensive railings and safety nets are a typical detail on a model in 1:350 scale.
Photo-etched railings and nets are bent carefully into shape and glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) once the base coat is on. We recommend fitting them at the very end of the build so that they are not damaged during further handling. It is a good idea to paint the parts before gluing, because they are harder to mask once attached.
An add-on set; it is not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
