This is a resin, 3D printed accessory from the Ukrainian brand Reskit, not an airplane kit. The package contains one centerline auxiliary fuel tank of 150 gallons meant for the light fighters and trainers F-5E/F/N, F-20 and AT-3 in 1:48 scale. The part has a smooth surface, fine dividing lines and a faithful shape of the mounting lug.
Auxiliary fuel tanks extend the range of an aircraft and are carried on a centerline or underwing pylon. The Northrop F-5 Tiger II, its development successor the F-20 Tigershark and the AT-3 trainer are all light supersonic machines on which an external tank is a common configuration.
Separate the part from the print supports, clean it up and wash it free of print resin residue. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Paint the tank according to the chosen scheme of the aircraft and match it to the shade of the airframe; pick out the seams and the mounting with a fine wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The basic model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
