A resin, 3D-printed detail accessory in 1:48 scale from Reskit. The box contains two 370-gallon (1400 l) wing auxiliary fuel tanks with their mounting pylons in the Type 2 form. This is not an airplane kit but replacement parts that take the place of the tanks out of the box and raise the level of detail on the model.
The 370-gallon wing tanks are part of the typical configuration of the F-16 Fighting Falcon for longer-range flights; they are carried on the inboard underwing pylons. Reskit makes two forms; this is Type 2 with the matching shape and surface detail.
Wash the print residue off the parts, cut off the print supports and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For a clean result, go over the surface with a base coat before painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
