This is a resin replacement for the main landing gear wheels, not an airplane kit. The set offers a more faithful tire shape, a fine tread pattern and rim detail compared with the parts from the base kit. The version corresponds to the late production of the aircraft. Intended for A-4 Skyhawk models in 1:48 scale.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk, nicknamed the Scooter, was a compact American carrier-based attack aircraft with a characteristic delta wing. It appeared in the 1950s and, thanks to its small size and toughness, served for decades with the Navy and with other air arms. The late versions had a revised landing gear, whose wheels the set captures faithfully.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent and separate them from the casting blocks. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Separate tires and rims make painting and masking easier. Protect your airways while sanding.
The set holds resin parts only. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
