A set of four resin (3D printed) AIM-7F Sparrow III air-to-air missiles in 1:48 scale from Reskit. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for filling the pylons and external stores of a model. The Low Vis finish matches the low visibility gray markings that came to dominate on combat aircraft of the more recent era.
The AIM-7F is an American semi-active radar homing medium-range air-to-air missile. The F version brought fully solid-state electronics, a more powerful motor and longer range. The missiles were carried by a number of aircraft, among them the F-4 Phantom II, the F-14 Tomcat, the F-15 Eagle, the F-16 and the F/A-18.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, separate them from the print supports and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply primer before painting; the low visibility shades come out best with an airbrush. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
