Aircraft mechanics with a Red Top missile on a trolley, 2 figures, 1:48 is a resin (3D-printed) set of two figures with an air-to-air missile on a transport trolley for British fighter models.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains two 3D-printed resin figures of aircraft mechanics together with a model of the British Red Top air-to-air guided missile resting on a transport trolley. It comes as unglued, unpainted castings for bringing a scene with British fighter models in 1:48 scale to life.
The Red Top was a British infrared-guided air-to-air missile used during the Cold War. It was carried by aircraft such as the English Electric Lightning and the Sea Vixen; the set is therefore intended for models of the EE Lightning, the Sea Vixen and the Hawker Hunter. The scene captures the ordinary preparation of armament before takeoff.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue, separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Sand with respiratory protection. Paint the figures and the trolley with the missile separately; a combination of an airbrushed base and brushed detail gives the best result.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
