A resin detail set in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a replacement for the production wheels on BAC/EE Lightning models in the late version. The late wheels differ from the early ones in the design of the hubs, so it is best to use the right variant according to the machine being built.
The Lightning developed during its service and later machines differed from the first series in a number of details. Faithful late type wheels help to place a model correctly in time and in configuration.
Wash the castings free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue; sand resin while protecting your airways. Shade the tires with a flat dark gray and the hubs with the color of the machine. A suggested flat spot where the wheel meets the ground gives a model a sense of weight.
