A detail accessory, not an aircraft model. The set renders the main landing gear legs of the P-40K by direct 3D printing and replaces the corresponding plastic parts of the base kit in 1:48 scale. The benefit is the fine rendering of the lightening holes, the hydraulics and the small features that plastic usually cannot manage.

What the set offers

Precisely shaped landing gear legs with faithful surface detail and better rigidity than thin plastic castings. The result is a more realistic and more durable landing gear carrying the finished model.

Usage tips

First rid the parts of print resin residue, cut the print supports off and smooth the areas down. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend treating the surface with a primer and painting with an airbrush; the metal surfaces of the legs can be accented with a metallic.
