An injection-molded plastic kit from Kinetic in 1:48 scale. The subject is the European two-seat jet Dassault-Dornier Alpha Jet, used for advanced training and also as a light attack aircraft. The box holds plastic parts for the fuselage, the wings, the cockpit and the landing gear, to be assembled and painted.
The Alpha Jet was a joint French and German project of the Dassault and Dornier companies. It was created as an advanced trainer and in some configurations also filled the role of a light attack aircraft. Thanks to its qualities it spread to a number of countries and became one of the typical Western European jet trainers of its generation.
First finish and paint the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and sand the seams. Spray the aircraft with an airbrush over a filler primer; trainers often wear bold high-visibility schemes as well as sober camouflage. Finally add the decals and seal them with a satin clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
