Reskit 1:48 Dassault Rafale – air intakes (3D printing) is a detail accessory for refining the engine intakes on a Rafale model; it is not a kit in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D printed detail set from the manufacturer Reskit for the model of the Dassault Rafale fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory (an aftermarket set) that replaces the air intakes — the engine intakes — with more accurate parts having a realistic shape of duct and crisply rendered detail. To use it you need a separate base plastic model of the Rafale in the corresponding scale.
The Dassault Rafale is a French multirole combat aircraft with a delta wing and canards, operated by land-based and carrier units alike. The characteristic side intakes for the engines are among the visually prominent features of the airframe, so refining them raises the fidelity of the model.
Wash the print resin residue off the 3D printed parts, cut off the print supports, sand the surfaces lightly and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding. Dry-fit the parts against the base model before gluing them in.
This is an accessory for advanced work; to use it you need a separate base Rafale model in 1:48 scale, which is not included in the package.
