About product

Douglas A-4M Skyhawk exhaust nozzle (1:48, Reskit)

A 3D printed resin exhaust nozzle that replaces the plastic part of an A-4M Skyhawk model in 1:48 scale. The fine print faithfully captures the inner wall as well as the shaping of the outlet, a place the viewer often looks into on a finished model.

What the accessory is for

It is not an airplane model but a separate detail part. It is fitted in place of the nozzle from the box and raises the realism of the tail end of the light Skyhawk attack aircraft.

Usage tips

Wash the part to remove print resin residue, cut off the supports and clean it up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. The inside is best painted before fitting; use dark metallic and burnt shades.

Who it is for

  • Modelers of the A-4M Skyhawk in 1:48 scale
  • Anyone interested in a realistic, well rendered exhaust nozzle
  • Builders used to working with resin

It is supplied unpainted, as a 3D printed resin accessory. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
