The model offers optional folding wings, a well-worked cockpit to the ICAP III standard and an openable canopy. According to the manufacturer the box holds external stores including jamming pods and several marking options.
The Grumman EA-6B Prowler was an American carrier-borne aircraft intended for electronic warfare and derived from the A-6 Intruder attack aircraft. The fuselage was lengthened for a crew of four, a pilot and three operators, and the machine carried jamming pods and anti-radar missiles. For decades the Prowler handled the suppression of hostile air defenses for the US Navy and the Marine Corps, until it was replaced by the EA-18G Growler.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the large four-seat cockpit before closing the fuselage, and mask the big canopy. Apply a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush. Good acrylic or enamel paints suit the period gray naval schemes, and the many technical markings add to the overall effect.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
