A colored relief 3D decal of the interior of the Lockheed F-117A stealth attack aircraft in 1:48 scale from Quinta Studio. It is not an aircraft model but a cockpit detail accessory meant for the Tamiya plastic kit. The parts are printed in several layers and have three-dimensional relief, so they do not look flat like classic decals.
The Lockheed F-117A Nighthawk was the first combat aircraft designed from the outset for low radar observability. Its faceted, angular fuselage shape and black finish are characteristic; it served for accurate night strikes on heavily defended targets.
The set replaces the instrument panel, the side consoles and other features of a fairly austere cockpit. The 3D decals are activated in water and transferred onto the parts of the kit; a decal softener and a setting solution do not belong with them, as they attack the printed resin. They are easier to work with than photo-etched or resin interiors. At the end it is worth unifying the surface with a matte varnish.
This is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for completing one. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
