An aftermarket resin, 3D-printed set of exhaust nozzles for the early versions of the twin-engine multirole F-4 Phantom II in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane kit but replacement parts for the rear of a model. The set is intended for the B, C, D and N variants, which used the corresponding form of the nozzles of the J79 engines, and follows the Academy kit.
The exhaust nozzles are one of the most conspicuous places on a Phantom to look at, and plastic parts as a rule simplify them. 3D printing captures the petals, the ribbing and the inner walls of the nozzles crisply and symmetrically. The early variants moreover differed in the form of the nozzles from the later versions, so it matters to choose the set corresponding to the version being built.
The set is supplied as unassembled and unpainted resin parts. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
