This is an upgrade accessory for the cockpit, not a kit. Quinta Studio makes color 3D decals with relief: layered, raised and pre-painted decals of the instrument panels and the side panels. The set is developed for the plastic model of the long-range fighter F-82F Twin Mustang in 1:48 scale from Modelsvit. Because the Twin Mustang has two fuselages with two cockpits, the set covers the interior of both; without the matching base kit it cannot be used.
The 3D decals are applied like wet decals: the element is released from the backing paper in lukewarm water and slid into place on the interior parts. The layered structure gives the surfaces depth and a raised appearance without laborious hand painting. The surface will take fine toning and blackening of the panel gaps.
This is an accessory for the cockpit, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
