A detail wheel set for models of the American F-16 fighter in the A version in 1:48 scale from Reskit. It is not an airplane kit but a standalone accessory that replaces the factory plastic wheels with more faithful parts in cast resin and 3D print with fine relief on the tread and the hub.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American single-engine multi-role fighter that entered service at the turn of the 1970s and 1980s. The A version is the early single-seat configuration with the original avionics. The machine became famous for its great agility and its frameless bubble canopy, and it spread among many of the world's air forces.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Shade the tires in a matte blackish gray and the rims in metallic shades. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The airplane kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
