The set contains one 3D-printed resin GPU-2/A gun pod of 20 mm caliber in 1:48 scale. This is an aftermarket accessory, not a kit; the accurate casting is hung on a pylon and offers a markedly higher level of detail than the parts from the box.
The GPU-2/A is an American external pod with a cannon of 20 mm caliber, which gave lighter aircraft and helicopters gun firepower without the need for a permanently built-in weapon. It came into its own with a number of machines; the compatible types include for example the OV-10A Bronco, the A-4 Skyhawk, the A-37 Dragonfly and the AH-1G Cobra helicopter.
