Hawker Hunter F.6 Flaps Correction Set 1:48 is a correction set in resin and photo-etch that adds the missing internal structure of the flaps.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detail and correction set combining resin parts and photo-etched sheets, not a model of an aircraft. It is meant for models of the British Hawker Hunter F.6 fighter (and related versions) in 1:48 scale and replaces the lowered flaps, which the plastic kit leaves without internal structure. The castings and the photo-etched parts show the ribbing and the inner structure of the flaps accurately.
The Hawker Hunter was a British jet fighter of the 1950s, long in service with the Royal Air Force and with a number of foreign air forces. Later versions carried larger drop tanks, which led to changes in the cutout and the internal structure of the flaps, and the set takes account of that.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and cut off the casting blocks; bend the photo-etched parts over an edge. Glue everything with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Paint the inner faces of the flaps before fitting them and bring them out with a wash so that the structure shows.
It is supplied as an accessory in resin and photo-etch, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
