A 3D-printed resin Mark 4 gun pod with a 20 mm cannon in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an underwing accessory with which you hang a faithfully rendered cannon pod, with fine panel relief and muzzle, on a pylon.
The Mark 4 pod carried a 20 mm cannon and was used as supplementary gun armament on machines such as the OV-10A Bronco, the F-8 Crusader, the carrier-borne F-4 Phantom II, the A-4 Skyhawk and the A-6 Intruder. It allowed the gun armament of an aircraft to be supplemented for attacks on ground targets.
Wash the print resin residue off the part, cut it away from the print support block and clean it up. It is glued with cyanoacrylate. Painting starts from the shade of the underside of the airframe; pick out the muzzle and the surfaces around it with a dark shade and pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
