A resin wheels set for the Mi-24 attack helicopter and its export version Mi-35 in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of the helicopter but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from the base kit with accurate castings with a fine tread and a realistic deformation of the tire under the weight of the machine. The flattening at the contact patch lends the heavy machine credibility on the ground. It is made by the Ukrainian brand Reskit, a specialist in resin wheels.
The Mil Mi-24, in its export versions also designated Mi-35, is a Soviet and later Russian attack helicopter with armor and the ability to carry a squad. It combines firepower with transport capability and serves with dozens of armies around the world. It is typified by its massive retractable landing gear and its characteristic silhouette.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and clean up the mating surfaces. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); when sanding resin, protect your airways. Paint the wheels separately, keep the rubber distinct from the hub, and when fitting them make sure the weighted flat sits squarely on the ground.
The set does not contain the model of the helicopter itself; it serves as an accessory for the matching kit. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
