FineMolds 1:48 MXY-7 Ohka and K1 Extra Detail Parts Set is a photo-etched detail set for models of the Japanese Ohka attack glider and its K1 training version.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not a standalone model. The metal photo-etch in 1:48 scale from the Japanese maker FineMolds completes models of the Yokosuka MXY-7 Ohka rocket-powered attack glider and its unpowered K1 training version with fine parts.
The Yokosuka MXY-7 Ohka was a Japanese rocket-powered special-purpose aircraft of the end of the Second World War, designed for attacks by kamikaze pilots. The K1 version served as an unpowered trainer. Its small dimensions and simple airframe make it a rewarding subject for collectors of Pacific aviation.
The set adds fine photo-etched items for increasing realism where plastic is not enough. Separate the parts with a sharp knife, fold them over a metal ruler and bond them with super glue. Degrease the photo-etch before painting and go over it with a base color.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
