A detailed main rotor in the folded (parked) position, made by direct 3D printing from resin by Reskit, intended for the 1:48 model of the Sea King helicopter. It is a resin accessory for more experienced modelers, not a stand-alone helicopter model. The set replaces the rotor from the box and lets you show the aircraft with the blades folded.
The set brings the rotor head and the blades folded back the way the helicopter is prepared for storage in a hangar or aboard a ship. Faithfully drawn hinges and the folding mechanism give the model an authentic shipboard look. Judge the exact number of parts by the package.
Wash the fine parts free of uncured resin residue and separate them carefully from the supports, as they are fragile. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Complete the blades before fitting them, unify them with a primer and add a discreet patina to the paint around the hinges.
This is a resin accessory. The base helicopter model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
