This is a set of two 3D-printed resin ejection seats in 1:48 scale, not a model of an aircraft. It reproduces the SJU-17 seats of the NACES system for the two-seat fighter Grumman F-14D. The set holds the front and the rear seat with different details and a different rendering of the belts, and it replaces the simplified seats from a kit.
NACES (Navy Aircrew Common Ejection Seat) with its SJU-17 seats is an American naval ejection seat used among others in the late versions of the F-14D Tomcat fighter. A faithful pair of seats markedly lifts the detail of a two-seat cockpit.
Separate the parts from the print supports carefully, wash them and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting; the seats are brought to life by colored belts, the ejection handles and a fine patina.
The package holds two seats, and neither a whole model, nor glue, nor paints.
