L Decals Studio 1:48 Spitfire Mk.Vb, VII, VIII, IXe is a sheet of wet decals with seven camouflage schemes of Supermarine Spitfire fighters for models in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of wet (water-activated) decals from L Decals Studio offers seven camouflage schemes for various variants of the Supermarine Spitfire fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a set of decals for finishing models into the form of particular historical machines. The sheet covers several versions at once — the Mk.Vb, the high-altitude Mk.VII, the Mk.VIII and the Mk.IXe — so it will serve for several different builds.
The Supermarine Spitfire is among the most famous fighters of the Second World War. The Mk.Vb was the version used in large numbers with the Merlin 45 engine, the Mk.VII was the pressurized high-altitude variant, the Mk.VIII combined a strengthened airframe with a two-stage Merlin, and the Mk.IXe was marked by a revised armament layout. Among the machines represented there are also aircraft of Czechoslovak squadrons and of well-known pilots.
The package holds decals only. The model, paints and glue are not included.
