Gunze Super Metallic 2 Gold

A premium lacquer-based modeling metallic paint from the manufacturer Gunze, from the Super Metallic 2 line. It is a gold shade with a fine metal sheen: the fine pigment gives a smooth surface after spraying that resembles real metal. The paint is intended exclusively for the airbrush and is solvent-based (flammable). It is not a kit but a coloring product for the most demanding metallic surfaces.

Use

• Intended for the airbrush only: it is applied in thin coats over a smooth, well-prepared base.
• A smooth base is decisive for a faithful metal look; a metallic paint emphasizes any unevenness.
• It is thinned exclusively with the solvent-based thinner of the same line from the manufacturer, which is also used to clean the airbrush.
• Shake thoroughly before use so that the fine pigment is evenly stirred in.
• Apply two or three thin coats for an even sheen; the paint dries quickly.

Who it is for

For advanced modelers who want a premium metal look in gold on engines, exhausts, details or decorative areas. Because of the solvent base and the need for an airbrush it is not suitable for complete beginners.

The paint is flammable and contains organic solvents. Work in a well-ventilated area or in a spray booth, use a respirator and keep away from open flame. Check the volume of the package on the label.
