This is not a kit, but a photo-etched metal set of accessories for refining a plastic model of the German Tiger II (King Tiger) heavy tank with the early Porsche type turret in 1:48 scale. The thin photo-etched parts replace thick-walled plastic sections and add the fine detail that injection-molded plastic cannot reach in a small scale.
In the small 1:48 scale work with tweezers and a magnifier. Separate the parts with a sharp knife and make the bends over the etched score lines using an etch bender. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting, degrease the metal and lay down a primer suitable for metal.
The set holds photo-etched accessories only, not the model of the tank itself.
