It is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from the box with more faithfully made parts with a sharper tire tread and finer hub tracery. On such a heavy carrier machine, faithful landing gear is a prominent feature.
The Douglas A-3 Skywarrior was an American twin-engine carrier bomber and one of the largest aircraft ever to serve from the decks of aircraft carriers. Besides its strike role it was used as a tanker and in electronic versions.
Separate the parts carefully from the casting blocks, wash them free of the remains of the mold release agent and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tire and the hub separately, which makes masking easier. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
