Reskit 1:72 AGM-12C Bullpup B missiles (2 pcs) is a resin set of AGM-12C air-to-ground guided missiles for aircraft models in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
By its name the set contains two pieces of resin AGM-12C missiles. It is not an aircraft model but armament that you hang under the wing of a finished model. Resin handles the slender body of the missile, the thin stabilizing surfaces and the fine surface division considerably more convincingly than plastic parts from a kit. The name also lists a wide range of carriers, so the set will find use on a whole series of models under construction.
The Bullpup was an American air-to-ground guided missile with a rocket motor that an operator steered by hand in flight by a flare in the tail of the missile. The AGM-12C version, designated Bullpup B, was markedly larger and heavier than the earlier rendering and carried a considerably more powerful warhead, because experience had shown that a smaller charge was not enough against hard targets. American and allied aircraft used it in the 1960s, both from land bases and from the deck of aircraft carriers.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent because of the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and level the mating faces with abrasive paper on a flat surface, so that the missile hangs parallel with the axis of the aircraft. It is bonded with super glue. Apply a primer before painting; the white and light gray shades that appear on training and live stores alike hold badly on bare resin. Colored bands on the body of the missile are easiest to spray over narrow masking tape.
