Injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale in the First Jets edition from Hobby 2000. The kit combines proven Dragon plastic tooling with quality Cartograf decals and masks. The box offers markings for two machines from the end of the war and is a convenient way to a model of this pioneering jet.
The Arado Ar 234 Blitz was the first jet bomber in the world to be used operationally. It was powered by a pair of turbojets and its high speed made it practically impossible for the fighters of the day to intercept. The B-2 version served as a bomber and a reconnaissance machine in the last months of the war and remains to this day an icon of the dawn of the jet era.
Take care over a clean fit of the glazed nose and the engine nacelles. Paint and mask the heavily glazed cockpit in advance. Late war schemes suit a combination of gray-green shades and a light underside; apply the Cartograf decals over a gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
