This is a resin, 3D printed accessory set containing two Exocet anti-ship missiles in faithful form. It is not an airplane model but detail armament with which you replace the coarser plastic parts from the box and add accurate external stores for models of the carrying aircraft in 1:72 scale.
The Exocet is a French anti-ship guided missile with a sea-skimming flight profile just above the surface, which makes it hard to detect in time. The air-launched version is carried under aircraft such as the Super Étendard, the Mirage 2000, the Mirage F.1 and the Rafale and under the Sea King helicopter, and it became known for its use in naval conflicts.
First wash the parts to remove print resin residue, carefully separate them from the print supports and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a primer before painting; the missiles themselves usually carry a light gray or white base with colored bands and lettering.
The set contains resin parts only. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
