This resin, 3D-printed supplementary set contains two AGM-142 Popeye 2 (Have Lite) guided air-to-ground missiles. It is NOT an airplane model but accurate underwing armament for improving a model already built in 1:72 scale.
The Popeye 2, also known as the Have Lite, is a lighter and smaller variant of the heavy precision-guided AGM-142 missile, intended to be carried by smaller carriers as well. It keeps the electro-optical or infrared guidance onto the target. It is used by aircraft such as the F-16I, the Kfir, the Mirage 2000C and the B-52H.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. The body is usually painted light gray, and the optical seeker head tends to be set off in color.
The set contains resin parts only. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
