A detail addition to the armament, not an aircraft model. The set contains two 3D-printed GBU-10 Paveway I laser-guided bombs in the slow speed form with the fixed BSU-3A/B wing and the BSU-37/B fin, in the variant with a thermal protective coating on the body. The modeling resin parts faithfully capture the seeker head, the control surfaces and the texture of the protective covering.
The GBU-10 Paveway I was the first generation of laser-guided bomb, created by adding a guidance kit to a conventional 2000 lb bomb. The thermally protected form had a protective coating on the body against high temperatures on an external carriage. The set allows a realistic load to be hung under models of contemporary strike aircraft.
Separate the parts from the print supports, wash and degrease them; they are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay down a primer and then the shades of aircraft ordnance; the texture of the protective covering can be brought out with a fine dry brush. Use respiratory protection when sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
