A set of two resin, 3D printed replicas of the GBU-31 JDAM guided bomb in the thermally protected US Navy form, in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but armament for completing the external stores of a finished kit. The manufacturer is the Ukrainian firm Reskit.
The GBU-31 JDAM is a guided bomb of the 2000-pound class with GPS/INS guidance. The naval version has thermal protection suited to carrier operation and was carried among others on the F/A-18E/F and the F-35B. It allows precise strikes against ground targets.
Wash the parts free of uncured print resin residue, cut the print supports off and clean them up by sanding with your airways protected. Glue resin with cyanoacrylate glue, apply a base coat and shade according to the scheme.
The set contains resin parts only; paints, glue and the host model are not included in the package.
