This kit in 1:72 scale from Planet Models captures the modern HESA Shahid 136 unmanned aerial vehicle, also known under the Russian designation Geran-2. It combines conventionally cast resin with 3D-printed parts; a transport trolley and decals for two marking options are usually included. It is a model for experienced modelers.
The Shahid 136 is an unmanned aerial vehicle of Iranian origin with a characteristic delta wing and a piston engine driving a propeller, designed as a single-use long-range attack weapon. Under the designation Geran-2, Russia deployed it on a mass scale during the war in Ukraine. In reality it is a fairly small aircraft.
Wash the mold release and resin residue off both the resin and the 3D-printed parts, separate them carefully from their supports and glue them with super glue. Sand with respiratory protection. Apply a primer, paint with an airbrush and accentuate the fine panel lines with a discreet wash.
The model is supplied as a kit of resin and 3D-printed parts, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
