Nakajima Ki-43-II Hayabusa painting masks in 1:72 from Special Hobby (the Special Mask range). Self-adhesive kabuki masks for clean masking of a model's glazing and wheels.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive painting masks in 1:72 scale for a model of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-43-II Hayabusa fighter (Allied reporting name Oscar). The masks are cut from kabuki paper and follow the shape of the cockpit glazing exactly; the set usually includes masks for the landing gear wheels as well. It is not a kit or decals, but an aid for sharp and clean masking during spraying.
The Ki-43 Hayabusa was the basic fighter of the Japanese Army Air Force in the Second World War. It was marked out by excellent agility and wide use in the Pacific theater. The Ki-43-II version brought a more powerful engine and a range of design improvements.
The set will be appreciated by modelers building the Hayabusa in this scale who want a neatly framed cockpit with no laborious cutting of tape. It is easy to use and suits less experienced builders too.
These are painting masks, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included.
