A plastic profile of half-round section from Plastruct in polystyrene (styrene). The profile is 3.2 mm high, the flat base is 6.4 mm wide and the length is 250 mm. The straight underside makes gluing onto a surface easier, while the rounded top makes realistic edgings and reinforcements.
The profile cuts easily with a sharp modeling knife or a saw and is glued with cement for polystyrene, which melts the surface and joins it, or with cyanoacrylate glue. The cut edges can be sanded and the surface takes modeling paints without trouble once a primer has been applied.
This is a modeling semi-finished material (a raw plastic profile), not a kit. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
