Colored three-dimensional interior elements for the Mi-24V attack helicopter in 1:72 scale from Kelik. The set is shaped for the kit from Hobby Boss.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Mi-24V is a Soviet attack helicopter that combines firepower with the ability to take a group of soldiers aboard. The crew sits in tandem under two separate canopies, behind the cockpits is a cargo compartment, and along the sides of the fuselage are stub wings with pylons for armament. The cockpits are glazed enough that they can be seen into on a finished model even in a small scale.
The set brings colored three-dimensional interior elements for the Mi-24V kit from Hobby Boss in 1:72 scale. They round out the instrument panels, the side consoles and other surfaces of the cockpit; the elements carry a raised relief and the colors and lettering already on them, so painting the tiny instruments with a brush falls away. The extent, the number and the exact position of the individual elements are given by the manufacturer's instructions.
The way they are applied differs from one set to another, so go by the manufacturer's instructions before you start; they also state whether the elements are self-adhesive. Paint the surfaces under the elements beforehand, let them dry completely and degrease the surface. It is worth sanding the molded relief of the instruments on the plastic parts down flat, so that the element settles over its whole face.
The set suits a builder who wants both cockpits readable and finished in reasonable time, and a modeler who collects helicopters of Eastern design. The kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
