A resin set of replacement wheels for models of the early versions of the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 fighter (F, F-13, U and US) in 1:72 scale. The wheels replace the plastic parts from the basic kit and bring a finer relief of the tread and more accurate hubs. The set comes from Reskit.
The early MiG-21 versions had different wheels from the later variants, so it is best to use the set matching the particular subversion. The resin castings have sharper detail that improves the look of the landing gear once painted. The wheels go in instead of the parts from the box.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water because of the mold release agent. Separate the wheels from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand with your airways protected.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete kit. The basic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
